The road to version 2.9
It seems the work around new Wordpress versionis going on hard.
On October 12th Peter Westwood published a post on the official Wordpress blog (Getting involved with the 2.9 beta testing), announcing that the first 2.9 beta will be released soon.
There’s already available a new plugin called WordPress Beta Tester which “makes it really easy to convert a test install of the latest release version of WordPress into a beta test install of the next up and coming release”.
The aim of the Wordpress team is to release the 2.9 version before upcoming November.
